NEW DELHI: Stylam Industries Limited adopted a village as a CSR program, today took Abheypur Village in the Panchkula district of Haryana under its wings Satish Gupta, Executive Director of Stylam Industries Limited inaugurated the program, bringing cheer to the residents of the village on this special occasion.
With a focus on Stylam’s ethics of work which comprise of Health, Education and Environment, this village adoption initiative started in 2015, has already made a discernible difference to Abheypur village in Haryana.
Speaking about Stylam’s efforts in this direction, Satish Gupta said, “Stylam Industries Limited has been in India for close to more than two decades now and we are committed to giving back as much as possible to the community. There are many ways to measure success and at Stylam Industries Limited, we want to contribute by making Indian villages become self-reliant. We are keen to bring about the more positive change in this village as much as possible. Our target is to adopt more villages as a CSR initiative program by 2020.”
Stylam Industries Limited is keen to become a successful catalyst for change in Abheypur. We have already taken immediate steps to set up a park which will become an activity resource center & shall provide walk path, art and craft material, play rides for children and sports equipment for school children, make provision for safe drinking water and actively co-ordinate with local education authorities for infrastructural improvements.
The inaugurated Aaganwadi, being set up by Stylam Industries Limited will provide effective Skill Development facilities to the villagers of Abheypur and neighboring areas. The activities of the Skill Development is being promoted and helped by Inner Wheel Foundation. Stylam Industries Limited has also taken the first step towards improving the village environment by planting tree saplings in order to create a green haven in the area. Going forward, general health and sanitation awareness will be promoted through active collaboration with the community.
