JAMSHEDPUR : TRL Krosaki Refractories (TRL Krosaki) celebrated 176th birth anniversary of its Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata Today. Priyabrata Panda, managing director of TRL Krosaki, the chief guest, began the function with a floral tribute to the Founder. PK Aich, president, TRL Krosaki Refractories Shramik Sangha, Koji Tsuiguchi of Krosaki Harima Corporation, senior executives of TRL Krosaki and Krosaki Harima, employees, senior citizens of Belpahar, ex-employees, members of Ladies Club, media persons and guests paid homage to the Founder on this auspicious day. Santosh Kumar Mishra, manager (PR & HRD), welcomed the guests. All the senior executives and department heads on behalf of their group signed on a pledge board to reaffirm their commitment and focus on improving quality, transparency, working environment, result focus, team work, safety, health and environment.
Sixteen platoons comprising nearly 500 employees of the company, union executive members, students of BR High School, BEM School, Rural Self Employment Training Institute, volunteers of CD & SW and Brahmakumaris came in a procession and paid homage to the Founder. The platoons displayed banners and placards carrying slogans to propagate the message to create awareness on the above focused areas and on safety, health and environment. The function concluded with the national anthem. The light and floral decoration of the JN Tata statue, JRD Park and the factory main gate created a festive mood in the township.
