NEW DELHI: On the occasion of the 122nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Memorial Trust organised a special Bhajan Sandhya at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial in New Delhi. Renowned Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota captivated the audience with his soulful devotional performance, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
The programme paid tribute to Shastri Ji’s simple life, dedication to the nation and enduring values. Earlier, a blood donation camp was also organised, where more than 100 people voluntarily donated blood. This was followed by a soulful presentation of popular bhajans by Anup Jalota, whose melodious performance added a devotional and musical spirit to the evening.
