NEW DELHI: After nearly four decades in the Information Technology industry, engineer Sanjay Kumar Goel has launched Vedic Tarika, a social initiative dedicated to providing free Vedic guidance, spiritual counselling, and traditional remedial suggestions to people across India.
An engineering graduate from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, Goel has spent almost 40 years in enterprise IT, working on ERP solutions, Linux-based infrastructure, and logistics technology. His professional contributions have been recognised through technology publications and case studies by organisations such as Linux For You, Intel, and Micro Focus.
Combining his extensive technical background with over a decade of study and practice in Vedic astrology, Goel established Vedic Tarika with the objective of making authentic Vedic knowledge accessible to everyone, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
Technology Meets Traditional Wisdom
Unlike conventional consultation models, Vedic Tarika uses a fully digital process through WhatsApp.
Individuals simply send “Hi” to +91 9891013934, after which an automated system collects their birth details. Based on traditional Vedic astrology, a horoscope is prepared, analysed, and personalised guidance is provided. Where appropriate, free Puja (prayer rituals) are also performed without any consultation charges.
The complete initial interaction is conducted digitally through WhatsApp, making the service easily accessible from anywhere.

Speaking about the initiative, Sanjay Kumar Goel said:
