Sanjay Choudhary is a chemical engineer with experience in project management, commissioning and operations of fertilizer and chemicals plants and has been involved in water and energy management, plant troubleshooting and reliability engineering. He has also worked in technical services, environment and safety management.
Prior to his current accountability at Tata Chemicals, he worked as General Manager-Operations at the ammonia & urea complex at Babrala, India and as Head-Technical Services at Chemical Complex in Mithapur, India and had worked as Manager-ChlorCaustic Business of Tata Chemicals. He heads the Climate Change Cell of the company and looks after the CDM activities.
He has published technical papers in number of journals and presented papers in several seminars. He had been actively involved in committees of the Indian Chemical Council, International Fertiliser Association, Alkali Manufacturer’s Association of India, Global Phosphate Forum, TERI-CoRE, World Chlorine Council, AIChE-CCPS, CII, FICCI etc.
