GE Healthcare, today showed their support and commitment towards the cause by organizing a range of activities at the India Technology Centre. 14000 GE employees formed human pink ribbons in multiple cities to spread awareness on the need for early detection in the fight against breast cancer.
GE Healthcare has been a recognized pioneer in the battle against cancer for over fifty years. As an effort towards driving the importance of early detection, the employees of the company undertook a wellness walk around the campus. Additionally, the employees had the opportunity to listen to breast cancer survivors’ recount their struggles with this deadly disease.
As a part of the Breast Cancer awareness month, GE Healthcare also launched a social media campaign- “CodePink” to educate and empower women by providing access to white papers, quick stats, factoids and tips on self-examination.
