HYDERABAD: In a move that sets a new benchmark for excellence in the Indian educational landscape, Don Bosco School, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad, has officially announced a pioneering partnership with the globally acclaimed AI-STEAM experts, International STEAM Research (ISR), USA. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, making Don Bosco, Moti Nagar, the first institution within the Hyderabad Province of the Salesian Congregation, to implement and empower its students through ISR’s premium, sustainable, holistic and affordable inquiry and research based hands-on AI-STEAM Experiential Learning with Futuristic Technologies.

As the world stands on the brink of a technological renaissance, this partnership is designed to move beyond traditional rote learning, offering students a premium, “Future-Ready” education that aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The leadership at Don Bosco School recognizes that the classroom of yesterday cannot solve the problems of tomorrow. Fr. Peter Gopu, Director of Don Bosco School, Moti Nagar, expressed his profound enthusiasm for this initiative. “By empowering our students to apply their knowledge in innovative ways using the ISR Experiential Learning framework, we will be able to nurture a generation of problem-solvers who will be equipped to tackle the challenges of the future. Our school is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere where curiosity thrives and learning is a joyful journey.”

Admissions Open for BBA in CSR, Sustainability and ESG

Fr. Peter further emphasized that the school is committed to creating a “psychologically safe” environment where students can experiment without the fear of failure. “Our commitment is unwavering in ensuring that our students are immersed in this dynamic form of education with futuristic technologies. ISR’s student-centric AI-STEAM hands-on experiential learning is a sustainable and transformative experience where students will hone vital and essential skills of the 21st Century such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.”

The partnership comes at a critical juncture. The job market is undergoing a seismic shift. Estimates suggest that 75% of today’s jobs will be replaced or fundamentally altered by Robots and Artificial Intelligence.

The integration of sophisticated technologies, including AI, Robotics, IoT, Coding, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality etc is making the workforce of the future unrecognizable. From law firms and banks using AI for data processing to hospitals utilizing robots for high-precision surgeries, the “automation age” is already here. AI now detects cancerous cells with greater precision than the human eye, while driverless cars, air taxis, and 3D-printed construction are becoming the new global standard.

Recognizing these exponential shifts, Don Bosco School, Moti Nagar and ISR are ensuring that students are not merely observers of this change, but the architects of it.

At the heart of this partnership is the ISR 7 Es cycle, a research-based approach that shifts the focus from “what to learn” to “how to learn.” This model promotes invention literacy and heutagogy (self-determined learning), encouraging students to take ownership of their intellectual growth.

This methodology targets the Cerebral Cortex, the area of the brain associated with decision-making and creative problem-solving. Research in Neuroplasticity proves that experiential learning or “learning by doing” significantly improves cognitive skills, processing speed, memory, and attention.

As Aristotle famously noted, “For the things that we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.” By allowing students to make mistakes and ask “why” and “how,” the STEAM facilitators at Don Bosco will encourage a “constructivism model” where knowledge is built through research and real-life application rather than passive absorption.

The impact of this partnership is already visible in the hallways of Don Bosco. Students are no longer just reading about technology; they are interacting with it.

“We are extremely excited and looking forward to learning these new technologies in our school,” shared a group of enthusiastic students from Class 7.

Their sentiments were echoed by a group from Class 8, who expressed their gratitude for the new facilities: “We are very lucky to have these technologies in our school. We would like to thank our Principal Ma’am and our Director Father for providing this facility. It makes us feel prepared for what’s coming.”

While many perceive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) as a set of separate subjects, ISR defines it as a way of thinking. In the real world, these disciplines are inextricably linked. Science relies on technology; engineering depends on the application of mathematics and the creative design of the arts. Hence, Don Bosco aims to ignite this same inter-disciplinary curiosity in every student.

ISR’s ecosystem adds value to the existing school curriculum without adding a “burden” of extra content. Instead, it weaves enquiry-based modules into the daily learning experience. This approach ensures that students develop transferable skills, the kind that remain relevant even as specific technologies evolve. Statistics show that 80% of today’s fastest-growing careers require these STEAM skills, which often lead to higher employability and earning potential.

Don Bosco School, Moti Nagar, is a premier educational institution in Hyderabad, committed to the holistic development of young minds. Guided by the principles of the Don Bosco tradition, the school emphasizes character-building, innovation, co-curricular and academic excellence. It strives to create a nurturing environment where students are empowered to become law-abiding, versatile, and productive global citizens.

“The future job market belongs to the heutagogical and versatile”. Don Bosco School, Moti Nagar, is not just educating students, it is empowering them to redefine the future.”
