Doon-based Society for Inclusive Development (SFID) successfully organized “Himalayan Yuva Prerna Yatra (HYPY), five-day journey for young participants from 22 States of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, from 25 to 29 May 2013. The journey started from Doon University on May 25 and concluded at Patanjali Food Park on May 29.

INDIACSR News Network

DEHRADUN: There  was  pin drop silence in the board room,  around  100 energetic , passionate and innovative youth from all over India were waiting  for unexpected guest to come,  speak and motivate them  about  the journey of  achievements,  fulfillment and  full  of challenges.  Waiting   was over when Acharya  BalKishan,  co-founder of   Patanjali  Yogpeeth, Patanjali Food Park, Divya Pharmacy, Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd. walked in  plain white cloths along with  Shri. S.K Patra, CEO Patanjali Food Park and Anil Jaggi President of SFID (Society for Inclusive Development).

Yuva Prerna Yatra 2013 3The moments and excitement was quite visible in the group, to meet someone who is in the news for many reasons. Many   delegates had some queries in mind and  were  exited to interact  with  him to  understand the  whole  philosophy and  vision  directly  from  the founder .

When Acharya Balkishan started  talking & addressing to  all  young  members of “Himalayan Yuva Prerna Yatra”, (an  initiative of SFID) ,  everyone present  there  was watching  and listening curiously  & with full attention, interest and  excitement.

The journey  of Patanjali, how the small  idea of transformation  and community centric business  was conceived, formed and became big in the last  eighteen years was told to  youngsters coming from   best   of the  universities like IITs, IIMs, BHU, Petroleum University, MIT, Asian Institute For Women, Bangladesh Institutes like Google, Dell Computers, Green Earth Alliance,  Eklavya, Rural Talk/Bhopal etc.

Acharya Balkishan motivated them  by sharing his  personal  experience    that how   he  along  with Swami Ramdev ji started  Amwla Juice unit  and  now expanding in all sectors  of  organic  products, education, health etc. It  is  not possible  to become  successful  if you keep on  considering  problems and making  plans and programs to assure  success,  says Balkishan.

If we  get  100  passionate  youths with interest   to  change  the  world , we  can  make  them micro level  entrepreneurs  in the  villages of Uttarakhand. We will inspire, train and mentor them to become entrepreneurs within   their own region, which will check migration as well, said Acharya BalKishan.  SFID can  play big  role in this and  he invited Anil Jaggi  of SFID   to  come and  work  with Patanjali  to move in this  direction jointly.

It is difficult to make out   whether we are sitting in some spiritual ashram of Swami Ram dev  and Acharya BalKishan or  attending a Business /management classes  by some professional  and management Guru,  said Manoj Sharma Head- Yuva Prerna Yatra/SFID.  As  young participants was so excited  to listen  to Acharya BalKishan , and wanted  to  ask  him  several questions, for which Acharya ji gave them more them enough time  to   discuss, ask and   interact with him to get some  guru mantra  to become successful and social  entrepreneurs.

The detailed business plans  about Patanjali , and how  it  is going to involve  youngsters  were  presented by Shri SK Patra,  CEO  , Patanjali  Food  park. We have some corpus funds  and  action plans to reach rural India, said  Shri Patra.

After  long journey to Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun, Uttarkashi and Haridwar, Himalayan  Yuva Prerna  Yatra were ended up  at Patanjali food Park  with Valedictory Session   and  certification program, which  were  awarded by Shri SK Patra and organising team of  Shri  Manoj Sharma,  Sandeep Kukreti, Ritesh , Ashish Arora and Deepak Kakkar.

Vote of thanks  was given by founder  president Anil Jaggi with  special thanks  to Dr. Piyush Rautela, for providing Disaster management Team and support  during  Yatra, Dr.  Ansari  and Dr. Jyoti Kukreti for medical Support, Shri Mahendra Kunwar of HARC, SP Chamoli of Himalayan Adventure Institute, Dr. Dheeraj Pandey, DFO Mussoorie,  VC Doon University for their logistic support.
