NEW DELHI (India CSR): ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast, has taken a commendable step in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by donating a school bus to an army-run school for children with special needs in Drugmulla village, Kupwara District, Jammu and Kashmir. Located close to the Line of Control (LOC), this school serves children who face numerous challenges in accessing quality education.
The school bus was officially handed over by Kishore Masurkar, Chairman of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, to the head teacher, in the presence of the Indian Army, which has been actively supporting community development in the region.
Bridging the Accessibility Gap for Education
For children in remote areas like Drugmulla, commuting to school is a daily struggle. Harsh weather, rugged terrain, and long distances often force students to miss classes. Understanding this hardship, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals stepped in to ensure safe and reliable transportation for children with special needs.
“Access to education remains a challenge in many remote regions of Kashmir, where children often have to walk long distances to reach their schools. Understanding the importance of reliable and safe transportation, ENTOD has provided a fully equipped school bus to facilitate daily school commutes for children, ensuring they can pursue their education without obstacles,” said Kishore Masurkar.
He also applauded the Indian Army’s efforts in running schools and hospitals in border areas, playing a crucial role in empowering local communities.

This is not the first time ENTOD Pharmaceuticals has extended its support to the Kupwara District. Last year, the company donated a school bus and an ambulance to another remote village, Machhal. These contributions have significantly improved accessibility to education and healthcare services, becoming a lifeline for residents in the region.
