Child’s Rs.700 Thar Wish: Anand Mahindra’s Amused Reaction to Noida Boy’s Request

Cheeku from Noida goes viral for cutely asking to buy a Mahindra Thar for Rs.700, charming Anand Mahindra and netizens.

In a delightful mix-up that has captured the hearts of netizens, a young boy’s earnest inquiry about purchasing a Mahindra Thar for a mere Rs.700 has drawn a response from Anand Mahindra himself. The video, showcasing the child’s innocent confusion, has gone viral, sparking joy and creative suggestions from social media users.

Adorable Confusion: Cheeku’s Thar Query

The viral sensation began with a video featuring a young boy from Noida, affectionately known as Cheeku. Believing that the Mahindra Thar and the XUV 700 were the same vehicle, Cheeku’s conversation with his father about buying the car for Rs.700 quickly captivated viewers. The clip demonstrates the innocence and simplicity of childhood, resonating with many across the internet.

My friend @soonitara sent me this saying “I love Cheeku!” So I watched some of his posts on Insta (@cheekuthenoidakid) and now I love him too. My only problem is that if we validated his claim & sold the Thar for 700 bucks, we’d be bankrupt pretty soon…😀 pic.twitter.com/j49jbP9PW4

Anand Mahindra’s Amused Reaction

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, known for his active social media presence, found the video equally charming. Sharing the clip, he humorously noted the impossibility of selling the Thar at such a low price, joking about the potential bankruptcy it would cause his company. His light-hearted response further amplified the video’s reach and appeal.

Public’s Enthusiastic Response

The story didn’t just end with Mahindra’s reaction. Social media users were quick to engage, with some even urging Mahindra to fulfill Cheeku’s wish in some form. The creative brainstorming led to unique suggestions, such as manufacturing toy versions of the Thar and XUV 700 to be sold or included with certain models, much like popular toy cars.

Innovative Ideas: Beyond Just a Video

One notable proposal involved a lucky draw contest where booking an XUV 700 for Rs.700 could lead to winning the car for the same price. This idea highlights how a simple, heartwarming moment can spark entrepreneurial creativity and community engagement, demonstrating the power of social media to connect and inspire.
