The casino industry is on the rise in most parts of the world. There is a great mix at the moment, some countries have a very strong established love of casino gaming, with many companies offering their services to players.

Others are new on the scene, and have a casino service that continues to grow, something that will hopefully really take off in the coming years. A prime example of this is India, a country that has a rich history of gaming with dice and cards and is on the rise when it comes to online casino gaming. There are many places where players can enjoy online casino gaming, with options listed in this Luckydice guide to gambling for Indian players.

But how will the casino industry look over the next decade or so? We have seen a number of really big tech advancements that the casino industry could really use as an advantage, to make the service even bigger and better, which should ultimately appeal to more people.

A Possible VR Gaming Linkup

One of the toughest things for online casinos to replicate from playing inside a real life casino is the social aspect. Live gaming helps with that, but it is certainly far from perfect, and there is a lot of work to do, even though this is proving to be a popular type of gaming.

To aid with the social aspect, could we see casinos use virtual reality gaming to bring things to life for players? This could give players the chance to walk around a casino lobby, interacting with other players while checking out the games on offer and sitting down with a dealer to play them.

Casino gaming isn’t really a strong part of Indian heritage, but if you look at Indian culture then playing games with cards or dice certainly is, and this is where the love of gaming originates from.

Worldwide Payments

One of the toughest elements for Indian casino gamers is that there are not too many companies offering this type of service in India, and that means playing with an international provider in another country.

The good news is that many of these will accept Rupees as a payment method, but not all. However, to avoid this issue and to make sure players don’t face any international payment charges, another advancement the casino industry could use is the creation of cryptocurrency.

If the Bitcoin price can steady, so companies are happy to accept the currency because they know it won’t fluctuate too much while they hold it, then we could see crypto being used in the future by a lot more casinos. Some already offer it, but not too many, if this changes, it would be a real boost for players.

The world is coming closer together, and people are often doing things which are based in other countries, casino gaming is one of those. With worldwide payments thanks to cryptocurrency, this advancement would save players time and make things much easier for them.
