Power Grid gives Rs 95 lakh for rural development work 

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, is constructing a 765 KV GIS at Chilkaluripeta to provide transmission corridor for import of power to Amaravati.


GUNTUR: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, a Central Public Sector Enterprise, handed over a cheque of Rs 95 Lakh to District Collector K Sasidhar at the Collectorate here on Friday, September 1, 2017. The fund will be invested for rural development works in district.

Additional General Manager NV Raju handed over a cheque to the district authority.

As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Power Grid has taken up various rural developmental works, including CC Roads and drains, community halls, RO plants in various villages in Narasaraopet and Sattenapalli of the district.
