BANGALORE: India CSR, world’s popular CSR newswire, has awarded Kapil Sharma with ‘India CSR Green Leadership Award’ for his outstanding contribution to tree plantation at India CSR Award gala night held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Bengaluru in the presence of more than 100 CSR leaders.
Kapil Sharma is nature lover and Founder of SayTrees. He believes that every empty land is a potential forest for him. He starts every morning with just one thought “How to Sustain all life on earth”?
Under the leadership of Kapil Sharma, SayTrees, working since 2007, has planted over 60,000 saplings so far by engaging more than 15000 volunteers and 200 corporate partners.
SayTrees is a professionally run group of ordinary people extraordinarily determined to protect the environment not just by themselves, but also by sensitising others towards the importance of environment conservation and goading them on to participate in tree-plantation campaigns.
