NEW DELHI (India CSR): Wipro Limited, a global leader in information technology, consulting, and business process services, has achieved significant milestones in its intellectual property (IP) strategy. As of March 31, 2024, the company has secured an impressive total of 1,786 registered patents across various countries, underscoring its commitment to innovation and technological advancement. Additionally, Wipro filed 21 new patents during the last fiscal year, further solidifying its position as a pioneer in the knowledge-intensive industry.

Wipro Limited, a leader in the knowledge-intensive industry, underscores the pivotal role of Intellectual Property (IP) in driving business competitiveness and profitability. With an extensive IP portfolio, Wipro differentiates its products and services, introduces novel benefits, reduces costs, and enhances quality. The company leverages a combination of patents, copyrights, trademarks, design laws, trade secrets, confidentiality procedures, and contractual provisions to protect its IP.

Strategic IP Development

Wipro has heavily invested in developing IP across business solutions, products, platforms, and service accelerators. This strategic IP development allows Wipro to offer standardized solutions to customers, providing significant time-to-market advantages over customized solutions that typically involve higher costs and longer timelines.
