KORBA (Chhattisgarh): The London-based Vedanta Resources Plc Chairman Anil Agarwal is in Korba, Chhattisgarh where his aluminium company Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) has production facilities and power plant.
He met Balco CSR & PR team, villagers, school children and saw various CSR project being implemented by Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) in Korba district. During his day long visit he interacted with villagers and discussed on local social issues.
Anil Agarwal was briefed about the on going Corporate Social Responsibility project by CSR team at exhibition.
Agarwal handed over certificates to the youths of Skill Development Centre.
On this occasion, the CEO of Vedanta Aluminium sector Abhijit Pati, CEO and whole time director Ramesh Nair, Head of Corporate Affairs Rahul Sharma, Chief Financial Officer Sandeep Agrawal were present.
