As India gears up for recovering its economy, the need for developing sustainable plans to run organisations is now paramount. The road to recovery is challenging. It is not something that can happen over a night or a week’s time. India needs to streamline its resources to help the dwindling economy recover. But this will take time and elaborate planning.

Sustainability is now more important than ever. The nation has suffered massive blows in its coffers and resources due to the pandemic. And that is why, it is incredibly important to allocate resources efficiently. Resources must be used sustainably to prevent further damage as we move ahead with damage reparations.

And we shore up our economy, here are a few ideas to use sustainability as a model over the next few years. The implementation of these strategies can help the country move forward with the recovery process quicker.

Investing in Infrastructure Modelled On Sustainability

Everything boils down to this very basic point. India must put in more effort in investing in sustainable infrastructure. These infrastructures could span across industries. From gaming to manufacturing, sustainability at this hour is the key to moving forward.

India must take up the mantle to invest more in renewable forms of energy. Government support must be increased to farmers for using sustainable technologies in farming. The quality of public transport must also be improved and made more sustainable. These measures will not only help the country in curbing pollution levels, but also open up new portals for revenue.

Sustainability in the Gaming and Entertainment Sector

We mentioned how important it is for industries in every vertical to adopt more sustainable strategies. The gaming and the entertainment sector must also join in this movement. Online gaming and gambling websites must develop sustainable products that will help consumers to sustain their habits without getting addicted.

This way, the gaming sector, especially online gambling, can derive revenue from this. And it can also foster healthy gambling habits among the users. India could look into some of the best US poker sites for inspiration. Modelling the gaming and entertainment sites on these foreign websites might do the trick.

The gaming sector draws a significant amount of revenue. Therefore, it is essential for India to acknowledge the same and devise sustainable means to raise revenue from this sector.

Use More Sustainable Forms of Technologies

Technology, and especially digital technology, is more important than ever in the post-COVID-19 world. Nandan Nilekani, the co-founder of Infosys, dropped some pearls of wisdom in this regard. From traditional banks to the information sector, every industry has started depending on technology in full swing. Banks might even start using the Open Credit Enablement Networks to grant loans.

He was also of the view that India needs Internal Globalisation to transform itself into a single market. And this can happen only with the use of technology. However, with the limited funds and resources we have, it is crucial to allocate these resources sustainably.

More sustainable technological products must be developed that can help in the outreach, research and globalisation. Sustainable technology can also make the future much brighter for the next generation. This way, our country can move forward with gusto and recover its economy during challenging times too.

The Bottom Line of the Entire Discussion:

It is true that India, along with the other countries, is going through some incredibly tough times. However, amidst all the negativity and tanking economy surrounding us, we must have faith. There will be light, and there will be better times. And while the entire world waits for better times, it is imperative to stay focussed and plan for recovery.

One of the best ways to march towards recovery is that of sustainability. Streamlining the available resources and coming up with holistic strategies can help the country reverse the damages. It sounds arduous, and in all honesty, it is. It shall take the effort of the government and its people to work together. Without the required unity, the fight to tweak the tanking economy shall look harder. Therefore, the bottom line is that, we need to fight together and take India forward as sustainably as possible.
