Q: Can you tell us about the CSR programs that Zebronics runs?
A: At Zebronics, we are committed to making a positive impact on society through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Our Zeb-Health program focuses on providing health check-ups and medical assistance to underprivileged individuals and we also have a health clinic in the village of Pallikarnai, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, we regularly organize yoga classes in old-age homes and orphanages and participate in blood donation camps across the country.
Our Zeb-Tech initiative promotes inquisitive thinking among school students through a variety of competitions and activities. We involve students in a range of activities that are tailored to their age and help enhance their knowledge. So far, we have reached over 5000 schools across the country before Covid.
The Zeb-Learn program is focused on providing activity-based programs in orphanages and old-age homes. For children, we conduct learning-based activities that include arts, crafts, and educational trips to planetariums. We also engage in cultural activities in old-age homes to entertain and engage the elderly.
The Zeb-Environment initiative aims to improve the environment through activities such as coastal and beach clean-up programs and tree planting. We also hold marathons across India to promote a sustainable environment for the future.
Q: What is the CSR vision of Zebronics?
A: At Zebronics, CSR is an integral part of our organization and we are actively involved in creating a better future for society. Our CSR programs such as Zeb-Health, Zeb-Learn, Zeb-Tech, and Zeb-Environment work towards the upliftment of society.
Our leadership has a clear vision for the organization’s social engagement, which is based on creating positive storylines, achieving scalability and sustainability, promoting health, and ensuring value addition through social development interventions. We believe in implementing impact interventions based on the needs of society and looking at long-term sustainability. Our programs are primarily aligned with Good Health and well-being, Quality Education, and the Environment.
Not only the leadership but employees across all locations are actively involved in our giving program and supporting multiple children-based social interventions, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare. We endeavor to identify key areas of social development that require investments and intervention to create access and help protect underprivileged communities and realize India’s potential for growth and prosperity.
Q: What has been the highlight of the CSR programs in the past few years?
A: Most of our CSR programs have been running successfully over the years. In recent years, especially post-Covid, we have been consistently emphasizing on health-related programs for adults and children. With the help of local authorities in many parts of the country, we have executed multiple channels of support by distributing Zebronics Health & Medical devices such as Pulse Oximeters, Infrared Thermometers, and masks. We have also partnered with leading blood banks and diagnostic centers to hold blood donation camps across the country. Additionally, our tree planting and coastal clean-up programs have been well received and have made a positive impact on the environment.
