The IPL is more than just cricket; it is about the emotion and camaraderie shared by millions of fans who cheer for their favorite teams at every step.

Over the years, the Indian Premier League has grown in popularity not just in India but in other parts of the world as well. With over 8.2 million fans, Mumbai Indians have also left a big mark in the IPL space. They have star players like Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma. They are known to have the ability to turn the tide in their favor when it matters the most. They are one of the most successful teams in the IPL with 5 record champion wins. This time has continuously shown great performance and reputation in gameplay. Like CSK, they enjoy a supportive fanbase. The team is also known to attract the best cricket talent which has played a major role in their success.

3. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) 

Even though they have not won an IPL title yet, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has an amazing fan base of 7 million followers. Their fans, known as ‘RCBians’, display an unwavering enthusiasm by shouting the slogan “Ee Sala Cup Namde” (This Year, The Cup Is Ours) year after year, expressing their unwavering loyalty to the franchise. This strong sense of community contributes significantly to their popularity, as it fosters brand loyalty. 

The team is led by the vibrant Virat Kohli, RCB has a talented squad with a track record of winning big names in cricket. In addition to Kohli, well-known players such as Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers are usually featured in their lineup, making for an intriguing team to watch. 

4. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) 

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), with 5.3 million followers, have become a global sensation among cricket fans. Dinesh Karthik has led KKR to many IPL victories, with guidance from their coach, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. The ‘Knights’ exemplify resilience and drive, which relate strongly to their passionate fan base.

The team’s home base in Kolkata, a city with a rich cricketing history, ensures unwavering support from local supporters. Their enthusiastic cheers and strong attachment to the squad create a lively atmosphere, particularly during matches at their beloved home field, Eden Gardens. With a winning combination of star power, championship titles, and an attractive brand of cricket, the Kolkata Knight Riders continue to fascinate spectators worldwide.

5. SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Despite being one of the newer franchises, SunRisers Hyderabad has quickly risen to prominence, amassing over 3 million followers. With players like David Warner and Rashid Khan leading the charge, SRH has showcased exceptional talent and skill on the field. The ‘Orange Army’ stands united in their support, making SRH one of the most beloved teams in the IPL.

6. Punjab Kings (PBKS) 

Formerly known as Kings XI Punjab, PBKS has a passionate fan base of over 2.9 million. Despite encountering obstacles in previous seasons, PBKS has demonstrated moments of brilliance, enthralling viewers with their reckless brand of cricket. The ‘Sheron ka Savaari’ is still an important aspect of the IPL, with fans rallying around their side with undying allegiance.

7. Rajasthan Royals (RR) 

Rajasthan Royals, with over 2.6 million followers, have left an indelible mark on the IPL with their underdog spirit and remarkable victories. The inaugural champions of the IPL, RR have consistently punched above their weight, making them a fan favorite. 10. Gujarat Titans (GT)
