The new product offering JK Lakshmi Pro+ aimed at redefining the construction industry

Gurgaon: JK Lakshmi Cement, a major cement manufacturer in the industry along with The Guild of Designers and Artists (GDA) today organised a knowledge sharing session on- ‘Building Smarter Cities : Opportunities & Challenge’. The event was graced by the presence of 300 architects and designers along with the announcement of JKLC’s premium product offering- JK Lakshmi Pro+ modern premium cement for faster, stronger and durable construction.

JK Lakshmi Pro+ Cement 7+ benefits:

Plus Strength– with 20% additional strength than earlier

Plus Durability– micro particle strength (MPS) technology leading to higher impermeability ensures higher durability of construction

Plus Finish– finer cement particles lead to better smoothness and finish

Plus Speed– early de-shuttering saves time and ensures a speedy construction process

Plus Surety– high quality and tamper proof and moisture resistant bags give correct quantity and factory-fresh quality of cement

Plus Service– timely delivery and an expert technical team for on-site guidance

Plus Economy– with 5% more volume per bag of cement, it require lesser of bags for construction.

 

Architects and designers stressed on the importance of innovation in building world-class cities and facilities in the country. The panel discussion on smart cities was moderated by Mr. Karan Grover, Architect, Karan Grover and Associates (KGA) and Mr. Rohit Saxena, Principal, Managing Director, Perkins Eastman Design Consultants. Other panelists were- Ms. Lipika Sud, President, GDA, Mr. Mohit Gujral, Architect, Mr. Vince Berkhout Executive Director planning AECOM, Dr. Ajay Pradhan, Managing Director – Halcrow, Ms. Sonali Bhagwati, Architect and Ms. Dikshu Kukreja, Architect.With the government’s announcement of developing 100 smart cities in the country, leading architects across India came together under one platform to discuss the roadmap towards building smart cities, the concept, deliberating on the challenges and the opportunities. An engrossing panel of 12 distinguished architects debated on various aspects ranging from issues related to sustainable building practices that can minimise impact on the environment to the resources.

Mr. C.S. Sadasivan, Chief Executive (Marketing), JK Lakshmi Cement welcomed the chief guest and other guests for the evening. The key note address was given by Mr. Talleen Kumar, IAS, CEO & Managing Director, DMICDC.Speaking at the event, Dr. Shailendra Chouksey, Whole-time Director, JKLC said, “Delhi – Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is India’s most ambitious Infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as “Smart Cities” and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors. Understanding the developments and in order to support these efforts, we at JK Lakshmi Cement has introduced Pro+. The product has been developed in an attempt to target the premium sections with superior features and safety for segmented market needs. Pro+ is a result of this drive to empower our customers with choice and added benefits proving to be the obvious choice for smart cities projects for which the government anticipates to start the identification process.”
