For the fiscal year 2023-24, TCS set aside Rs 850 crore, equivalent to 2% of its average net profit, for its CSR activities, as mandated by Section 135 of the Companies Act. By the end of the year, TCS reported a total CSR expenditure of Rs 827 crore. - Socio-Economic Mobility: Approximately 797,749 people benefited from programs aimed at enhancing socio-economic stability and mobility.
- Women’s Empowerment: Efforts to build equitable pathways resulted in significant advancements for 405,775 women.
- Youth Engagement: About 455,692 young individuals received support through educational and skill development programs.
- Support for Marginalized Groups: A significant focus was placed on aiding 547,311 individuals from marginalized communities, helping them overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency.
