Prerana Langa is the Chief Executive Officer of Aga Khan Agency for Habitat leading climate action in India.
Prerana has twenty-five years of experience and she has the distinction of setting up, running, and scaling two corporate foundations for large private financial entities; ICICI Group and YES BANK in India. She worked for a philanthropic non-profit in 1100 villages on the well-being of the individual, community, and planet towards transforming a State of Punjab.
Prerana serves on the advisory board of Raintree Foundation, a non-profit and as a trustee of Dvara holdings (former IFMR trust).
Prerana is adept at communication, brand building and leveraging the power of storytelling. She created and ran the world’s largest youth movement with 1.3 million participants in a single year.
She has won several awards including being recognized among the top five social impact professionals in India by the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) and Social Venture Partners. She is an active voice of social impact across forums. She featured in a book, The Chef Executive Officer, for perspective on innovative leadership alongside other high-profile CEOs Aditya Puri, Jerry Rao, and Ken Cato.
Prerana has an MBA and a diploma in sustainability.
The Maharashtra CSR Summit
