MUMBAI: The Technological University of the Americas (TUA), has recently acknowledged Sir Dr. Huz (Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala), Trustee & CEO of Wockhardt Foundation and Founder of The World Peacekeepers Movement (TWPM) for his academic and outstanding performance, accomplishments and qualifications, and excellence in leadership and public service. He has been appointed at the High Office of Professor in Peace Studies at the Technological University of the Americas.
On the occasion, Sir Dr. Huz said, “I am overwhelmed on receiving the Professorship of the Technological University of the Americas. I accept this recognition on behalf of the entire team of The World Peacekeepers Movement whose efforts have made difference to the lives of more than a million people thus promoting peace worldwide.”
Through The World Peacekeepers Movement (TWPM), Sir Dr. Huz has brought together more than a million people together on an online platform sharing the same dream of world peace and better future. TWPM signifies the world’s mass grass roots movement of peace through the creation of the world’s largest army – The World Peace Army. With 1.9 million Peacekeepers, the World Peace Army is the world’s 2nd largest army.
TUA is focused on providing low-cost distance education in Business Management, Education and Technology Engineering to the poor and those serving the poor in third world countries like Suriname, partly based on its own unique authentic and holistic leadership and management concepts like Total Performance Scorecard, Personal Balanced Scorecard, Authentic Personal Branding, Authentic Governance and TPS-Lean Six Sigma, which are endorsed by leading professors from Harvard Business School, MIT, Yale, London Business School, IMD, INSEAD, etc. and which are currently also being used by these universities. They are passionate and committed to improve the quality of the life of students in poor countries like Suriname by delivering them affordable innovative online programs locally so that they can succeed globally.
Sir Dr. Huz has been bestowed with Knighthood from the Ecumenical Medical-Humanitarian Order, Knights of St. John of Jerusalem. He has also received Indian Virtual University for Peace and Education (Honorarium Doctorate) for contribution to the society, D.Litt (Doctor of Letters) by CIAC Global in affiliation with KEISIE International University, South Korea and Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) from Commonwealth Vocational University, Kingdom of Tonga. Sir Dr. Huz is an MBA from the prestigious Yale University in USA. He has won numerous awards for his contribution towards the society.
Also Sir Dr. Huz has touched millions of lives through various initiatives like Little Hearts, Pronto Toilet, Pronto Bio-Toilet, E-Learning, Khel Khel Mein, Wockhardt Skills Development Institute, SHUDHU water purification tablets and Adarsh Gram Yojana, Mobile 1000. The impact created is positive, effective and successful in providing quality health, education, sanitation services to the needy section of the society.
