(RESPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Resurgent India Ltd., has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as a Category II Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Rating Provider. To address the rising demand for ESG, Resurgent India founded RESPL to provide businesses with customised ESG ratings and solutions that promote both operational excellence and ethical economic development.

Client Growth Projections for RESPL
RESPL projects onboarding a cumulative total of 20 clients within 9 months of its operations in the fiscal year 2024-2025. This number is expected to grow to 48 in the fiscal year 2025-2026 and further to 72 by 2026-2027. Additionally, business volumes from 2025-2026 onwards are projected to increase due to the inclusion of ESG rating surveillance services for existing clients.
Expansion Plans and Staffing for ESG Services
As per the business plan submitted to SEBI, RESPL plans to hire five more staff members in the fiscal year 2024-2025, increasing the total number of employees to seven from the current two. BRSR consultancy services are provided through Resurgent India Limited, while ESG ratings are offered through RESPL.
