PUNE: Quick Heal Foundation, the CSR wing of Quick Heal Technologies Limited organized a free medical checkup and treatment camp for underprivileged women recently. The camp was organized at the Zilla Parishad School in Lalgun village near Satara. Over 550 women from the village participated and benefitted from this noble initiative.
Quick Heal Foundation had partnered with Rukdikar Maharaj Charitable Trust in Kolhapur to appoint a team of 20 Ayurvedic doctors to render their services in the camp. This team provided free consultation and Ayurvedic medicines to the patients who participated in the camp.
During the course of action, the doctors observed that majority of the women were diagnosed with health problems like joint pain, uterus problems, infertility and indigestion. Following this observation, Quick Heal Foundation has decided to conduct two more camps in January and February to encourage more women to participate in the camp. The Foundation has further pledged to monitor the progress of each patient.
The entire activity was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Kailash Katkar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Quick Heal Technologies Limited and Anupama Katkar, Vice President – Human Resources, Quick Heal Technologies Limited.
