BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has called upon industries to integrate corporate social responsibility (CSR) into their core business strategies to contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of their workforce as well as the community and society at large.
The CSR activities should not only refer to compliance of human rights standards, labour and social security measures but also to fight against sustainable management of natural resources and climate change, Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said .
The Minister was speaking at the Corporate Governance and CSR Symposium 2015 organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) here.

The ICC looks forward to work closely with stakeholders of the sector for all-round development of the State” Rajeev Singh said.
