ANGUL (India CSR): O.P. Jindal School, Angul, celebrated Utkal Divas 2025 with great enthusiasm, honoring Odisha’s rich heritage and cultural legacy. The event commenced with a melodious Welcome Song and a captivating Odissi dance performance, reflecting the artistic traditions of the state.
On this occasion the Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power and Member of Lok Sabha from Kurukshetra, Haryana Naveen Jindal, extended his heartfelt greetings to every Odia through social media. He wrote, “Heartfelt wishes to all on Utkal Divas, commemorating the formation of Odisha on April 1, 1936. May Lord Jagannath’s blessings continue to guide this land of rich culture and heritage toward greater prosperity.”
The event featured inspiring speeches by students, followed by insightful addresses from teachers, reigniting the spirit of patriotism. The Principal, Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sahu, encouraged students to cherish and promote Odia culture while fostering unity.
The Special Guest, Indira Chatterji from DPS, Nalco Nagar, felicitated the winners of the Odia Essay Writing and Drawing Competitions.
Akhil Kumar Behera extended a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging contributions. The seamless coordination by Mr. R.K. Tripathy ensured a memorable event, reinforcing Odisha’s glorious history and cultural pride.
