NEW DELHI (India CSR): NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated power utility, has been honoured with the Forward Faster Sustainability Award 2025 in the Water Resilience category. The award was presented at a ceremony organised by the UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI) in Chennai.

The award was received by Harekrushna Dash, ED (Sustainability, Environment & Ash) and Shri K Karthikeyan, AGM (Environment & Sustainability) in recognition of the company’s outstanding efforts in water conservation and sustainable water management initiatives.

NTPC Ltd. is India’s largest integrated power utility, contributing one-fourth of the India’s power requirements and has an installed capacity of over 77 GW, with an additional capacity of 29.5 GW under construction, including 9.6 GW of renewable energy capacity. The company is committed to achieving 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
