SIPAT (Chhattisgarh): Under the aegis of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in association with Sangwari Mahil Samiti and Patangali Hospital, NTPC-Sipat organised a free surgical treatment camp at NTPC hospital from 25-29 November 2013, where 31 Hydrocele cases and 12 Hernia patients were operated by experts of Patanjali hospital of NTPC Sipat. The program was inaugurated by Shri Y V Rao, Executive Director, NTPC Sipat.
The service of this surgical camp was a means of providing quality medical facility to the poor patients, who can not take the facility of surgical treatment. A team of eminent doctors of Patangali Hospital, NTPC-Sipat and visiting doctors from NTPC-Korba operated 43 patients. Under the community out reach program NTPC Sipat organises various programs to improve the health care facility of the surrounding villagers. Mobile medical unit, regular health check-up for villagers and students, family welfare camp, blood donation camp are being organised in regular intervals.
Speaking on this occasion Shri Y V Rao, Executive Director, NTPC Sipat lauded NTPC’s effort to provide better health care facility for local villagers. On this occasion, Shri J V N Rao, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), ShriN J Jdhav, General Manager (Technical Services & Project) vice president of Sangwari Mahila Samiti Smt. Rao, Chief Medical Officer, NTPC Sipat Shri P K Ghosh, doctors of Patangali Hospital and paramedical staff were present.
