BENGALURU (India CSR): Newtral Technologies, a climate-tech startup addressing the critical challenges of value-chain emissions, has secured funding from NOW under its Accelerate model. NOW is a deep tech and deep science venture studio focused on sustainability and climate tech. As part of the program, Newtral will receive $600,000 in capital along with hands-on studio engagement by NOW Accelerate to expand into key global markets and build scalable revenue & business models on the path to Series A.
NOW has already begun working with Newtral and have jointly identified target customer segments, product roadmap and co-designed a focused go-to-market plan to drive repeatable growth, the company said.
Companies across global value chains are under pressure from regulation, customers, lenders, and internal net-zero commitments to measure, report, and reduce emissions. The pain points are universal: fragmented operational and supplier data, Scope-3/Product Carbon Footprint modeling gaps, auditability across multiple frameworks, and the inability to turn compliance work into real emissions reduction.
Founded in 2022 by two NID alumni with deep expertise in sustainability, product, and enterprise markets, Newtral is an AI-powered sustainability management platform that solves this problem end-to-end by collecting and structuring data, automating multi-framework ESG reporting, modeling value-chain emissions (including Scope 3), and driving prioritized decarbonization actions with supplier engagement.
As part of the Accelerate program, Newtral will use the funding and embedded support to scale and execute the GTM plan in key global markets. Newtral will also focus on scaling recurring revenue, build toward Series-A readiness and establish itself as a global sustainability platform from India to the world. The company is already trusted by over 100 companies, including Wockhardt, Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), and Metro Brands Limited, across pharma, real estate, and retail.
