Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, announced a New Health Seva Plan aimed at enhancing health access for marginalized women and children. This initiative will provide over 1,00,000 individuals with free screenings and essential treatments, reaffirming the hospital’s commitment to accessible healthcare.
The Health Seva Plan promises free screenings and treatments for congenital heart disease in 50,000 children, screenings for breast and cervical cancer in 50,000 women, and cervical cancer vaccinations for 10,000 adolescent girls.
Focus on Health Equity
The New Health Seva Plan, launched by Smt. Ambani, extends the hospital’s goal of accessible healthcare to those in need. Under this plan, the hospital will focus on:
- 50,000 Free Screenings for Congenital Heart Disease in children, aiming to reduce undiagnosed cases and offer early treatment options.
- 50,000 Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings for women, addressing two of the most prevalent cancers affecting women in India.
- 10,000 Free Cervical Cancer Vaccinations for adolescent girls to promote preventive healthcare.
