HYDERABAD: India still has challenges of widespread poverty, growing inequality, ill health, rising unemployment etc., and all these find worsening the economic life in rural areas. In support of Government, the Corporate Sector is playing a pivotal role through their mandated social responsibilities by ensuring private investment flows into the rural areas that ignites the development processes and also to substantiate for inclusive growth. However, many issues are haunting the development players and require series of discussions on Corporate governance and partnership with all stakeholders.
Keeping in view, the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR) is organizing Two day National Level Seminar on “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Community Development” during February 16 – 17, 2017 in its green campus at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
