GREATER NOIDA: Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble State Minister for Culture (Independent Charge) and local Member of Parliament (MP) today visited his adopted village Neemka in Jewar Tehsil of district Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh and complimented and lauded efforts of BIMTECH in extending voluntary support for development of this village since beginning. The project run by Ranganathan Society for Social Welfare and Library Development (RSSWLD) with support of BIMTECH.
He appreciated the voluntary efforts of students and faculty of BIMTECH who conducted house hold survey of the village and conducted Situation Analysis and Need Assessment of the village which was the basis for formulating development plan of the village.
He was very much appreciative of project Protsahan Chiraiya under which girl students of the village were imparted training in Life Skill and also English speaking. He requested BIMTECH to continue with this initiative till all girls are covered.
On this occasion, district officials and opinion leaders of the village were also present. Dr. Rishi Tiwari and Prof N.N.Sharma represented BIMTECH.
