MakeMyTrip Opens Its First Experience Centre in Bengaluru

BENGALURU (India CSR): MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel company, has launched its first-ever Experience Centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru, marking a significant step in strengthening its retail presence. The centre aims to bring personalized, experience-led holiday planning closer to travellers by blending digital innovation with human expertise.Designed as an immersive holiday planning hub, the Experience Centre features VR-powered travel zones where customers can explore popular global destinations in a computer-generated 3D environment using specialized headsets and controllers. Travellers can virtually experience destinations such as Dubai (UAE), Athens (Greece), Istanbul (Turkey), Paris (France), London (UK), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bali (Indonesia), Sydney and Melbourne (Australia), Toronto (Canada), Lapland (Finland), Maldives, Thailand, as well as European favourites including Budapest (Hungary), Madrid (Spain), Portugal, and Monaco.

Commenting on the launch, Jasmeet Singh, Chief Commercial Officer – Holidays & Experiences, MakeMyTrip, said:

With the opening of our first Experience Centre in Bengaluru, we aim to bring this comfort closer to customers in the region by combining digital touchpoints with personal guidance, enabling them to experience destinations more meaningfully. In addition to customised itineraries, customers will also have access to our curated group departures from India to popular global destinations, featuring assured departures, professional tour managers, and thoughtfully designed itineraries.”

Bengaluru continues to be an important holiday package market for MakeMyTrip. Among international destinations, Thailand, Europe, and Vietnam generate the highest inquiries, while domestically, the Andaman Islands, Kerala, and Himachal Pradesh remain top preferred holiday package destinations.
