LTIMindtree celebrates formation with tree planting initiative across six Indian states
Mumbai-based technology consulting and digital solutions firm LTIMindtree has planted 100,000 saplings across six Indian states to celebrate its inception, which was marked by the merger of Larsen and Toubro Infotech and Mindtree in November.
The company partnered with environmental NGO SankalpTaru Foundation to plant trees in Assam, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana and West Bengal. Each sapling was planted in the name of an LTIMindtree employee, with a certificate of plantation issued to the individual. A blockchain-powered system will enable staff to track the growth of their sapling.
