Khyati is privileged to be under the tutelage of some of the most respected figures in Indian Classical Music. She is a disciple of Kalaguru Shri Vedmani Singh Thakur of the esteemed Raigarh Gharana, Gurumata Chandra Dewangan, and Guru Devlal Devangan. Their teachings and guidance have played a crucial role in molding Khyati’s extraordinary musical talent.
In addition to her primary gurus, Khyati has been receiving rigorous training under the guidance of Guru Shri Chabilal Malak (Singing and Tabla), Guru Shri Kishan Mourya, and Guru Shri Shubham. Their wide-ranging expertise has further enriched her musical prowess and understanding of various facets of classical music.
Currently a student in Class 10th at the renowned OP Jindal School Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, Khyati continues to balance her academic pursuits with her passion for music under the guidance of Shri RK Trivedi, the Hon’ble Principle of the school. His guidance and the supportive educational environment of the school have been instrumental in fostering Khyati’s multifaceted development.

14-year-old Khyati Kumar, a child prodigy in Indian Classical Music, performed at the India ESG Summit held in Raipur on 12th August 2023. She left the audience astounded with her rendition of Saraswati Vandana in ‘Rag Bahar’. Khyati Kumar is known for her enchanting voice and distinctive melody, which captivates listeners and embodies the depth and beauty of Indian classical music. She is currently pursuing her 10th grade at the prestigious OP Jindal School in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
During her performance at the India ESG Summit, Khyati Kumar showcased her classical mastery by presenting ‘Bandish’ in various ragas such as Rag Bahar, Rag Bhupali, Rag Ahilya Bilawal, Rag Puria, Rag Sudh Kalyan, and Rag Malkosh and Rag Darbari Kanda. Accompanied by Guru Kishan Morya of Raipur on the Harmonium, Guru Chhabi Lal Malakar of Raigarh on Tabla, and Guru Damrudhar Malakar of Raigarh playing the Pakhavaj, Khyati Kumar’s performance was a testament to her talent and dedication to Indian classical music.
