Odisha – JSPL Foundation on Wednesday (21 Aug) distributed study materials to the children of jail inmates at Odisha’s Angul District Jail as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, a company release said.
The study kits were given to 73 jail inmates through the initiative. one hundred and eleven students of the jail inmates cleared the class 10th board examination.
Reiterated the foundation’s vision, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Pankaj Gautam said that the foundation has been working on various social development initiatives in the field of health, education and environment.
“Since 2008, JSPL has supported more than 12,000 children of jail inmates to continue their study by providing study materials,” Gautam added.
