Angul: To commemorate the India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war, Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) also celebrated the 43rd ‘Vijay Diwas’ with a Mini-Marathon at the JSPL Township.
Executive Director and Location Head of JSPL Angul DK Saraogi flagged off this marathon at 7.00am on December 16 at the Sports Arena of the township.More than 500 people, including Employees of JSPL, their family members, security personnel, children along with members of Jindal Mahila Samiti participated in Six km run to remember heroic act of Indian Army in the war.
Greeting all on behalf of the company, D.K. Saraogi said, “In addition to creating values in the society, JSPL is also known for its patriotism . Our Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal ji is the epitome of it. This Mini Marathon organized by us is one form of our homage for the Martyrs and in the other form symbolizes the march of JSPL towards socio- economic development of Mother India”.
