International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, Inclusive Development and Welfare 2021(Code: ICCSR) is being organized by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna in association with Xavier Institute of Social Research, Patna. The objective of the conference is to bring together academicians, researchers, practicing managers, policymakers in the government and the industry, NGOs, industry professionals and all concerned from India and abroad to share their knowledge-expertise-experience on various dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for enhanced effectiveness and applicability. The conference aims to provide a common platform for the exchange of the latest advancements, creative views and insights on recent trends and challenges in Corporate Social Responsibility, Inclusive Development and Welfare.

It is in this context the International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, Inclusive Development and Welfare 2021 is being organised by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) in association with Xavier Institute of Social Research, Patna.
The conference will have the advantage of academicians, researchers, practicing managers, policymakers in the government and the industry, NGOs, industry professionals and all concerned from India and abroad sharing their views, insights and solutions to spur research and interventions for a more vibrant, responsible and inclusive CSR ecosystem. The conference proposes to help the corporate, the government and the researchers to unfathom the hitherto unexplored larger view of CSR compared to the existing “myopic view” leading to fast-track societal development.

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna
Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna was inaugurated in 2008 by His Excellency the then Vice-President of India, Md. Hamid Ansari, as the dream-project of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar to resurrect the ancient educational glory of Bihar. It is an autonomous institute of excellence in management education, consulting and research set up by the Government of Bihar on the lines of Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). CIMP offers full-time AICTE Approved, NBA accredited and AIU recognized Post-Graduate Diploma in Management programme; full-time AICTE approved Fellow (Doctoral) Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Programme in Management (EXPM). Apart from this, CIMP also provides a short-term Training Programme, Research and Consulting services for various departments, agencies and bodies of the government and the corporate.
CIMP is among the Top-100 B-schools in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2021. CIMP also stands 29th in the National Cluster Rank 2021 in overall MBA ranking in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF).
Xavier Institute of Social Research (XISR)
Xavier Institute of Social Research (XISR), a Jesuit-run centre for social science research, training, development and action, was founded in 2000 and is located at Digha Ghat, Patna. It aims at creating an interface between scholars, academics and activists and initiating a process of social awakening through critical reflection and alternative discourse thereby contributing to strengthening people’s struggles towards creating a just and humane social order. Its main activities are research, publication, documentation, conducting seminars, conferences, lectures, etc. It has 49 publications in five categories, to its credit. Its library has 16000 books and journals in Social Sciences with a focus on Bihar.
Keynote Speaker
Mag Martin Neureiter: Having studied Law at London School of Economics, Mag Martin Neureiter is the founder and CEO of The CSR Company International, a consultancy firm specialised in Corporate Social Responsibility, with offices in four continents across 43 countries from Mexico to Korea. Mag Neureiter is the Program Director at the Ferdinand Porsche University for the newly established MBA in “International CSR Management” and also lectures at the St. Gallen Management Institute (Switzerland) and coaches C-suite Executives.
An author of several books on CSR and a guidebook on how to implement CSR which has been translated into 6 languages so far, Mag is the Advisor to several companies like Marks & Spencer, Qatar Government, ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company), Nordea (the largest Scandinavian bank), Vivacell/MTS Mobile phone, among others.
Paper Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should be 250 – 300 words.
- The full paper should be 3000 – 5000 words.
- Abstracts and full papers are to be sent as an MS-Word Document.
- Font style should be in ‘Times New Roman’.
- Size ‘12’ endnote font-size ‘10’ is to be maintained.
- Text alignment should be ‘Justified’.
- Line spacing should be ‘1.5’.
- Full papers should be submitted in the APA citation style.
- Plagiarized submissions will be subject to disqualification.
- The organising committee reserves the right to disqualify any paper not related to the theme of the conference or not adhering to the submission guidelines.
- Abstract and Full Paper may be emailed to iccsr@cimp.ac.in Selected papers will be published in the form of a book.
Best Paper Award
The best paper selected by a panel of experts at the conference will be eligible for the Best Paper Award of INR 10,000 and a citation.
Guidelines For The Participants
Registration is mandatory on confirmation of abstract. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the conference. Presenters can participate in the conference in online or offline mode. Paper presenters (authors and co-authors) have to register individually after the acceptance of the abstract with payment of the registration fees as applicable. There will be no change in the paper as well as the name(s) of authors/co-authors once a paper is accepted. Submission of full paper is mandatory for consideration for the best paper award. No TA/DA will be admissible.
