BHUBANESWAR: Odisha CSR Forum and Confederation of Indian Industry organized an interactive session on Corporate Social Responsibility in Odisha at Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar on June 30, 2017.
BK Mishra, Convener of Odisha CSR Forum presided over the meeting, in which various aspects of CSR and its future directions were discussed.
Prashant Kumar Hota, Convener of CII CSR Panel and Group CSR Head of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd shared the activities and future plan of CII CSR Panel. S C Padhy, Former Director (HR), NALCO and Ambika Prasad Nanda, Co-Convener of CII CSR Panel was also present during the occasion.
“Such convergence programme of CII with Credible Agencies having both Corporate and NGO membership for sustainable social development initiatives will result in execution of high impact CSR projects at the ground level,” said Dr. Tapan Chand, Chairman of CII Odisha chapter
Pradip Ranjan Choudhury made a presentation on sustainable smart cities. Representatives of leading corporate organizations like OCL India, NALCO, Triveni Earth Movers, Vedanta, IMFA and NGOs such as UNDP, FIDR and others participated in this programme.
