At the Jaipur based Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, a premier institution in the country for education of the women, well known for experimenting in the field of education to bring out the best from its students, the University always encourages new ideas and exhort the students for the same under University Startup “Punar Janam (Ready to Serve Again) recognized by Startup India to create Innovative money-making projects for the community/industry purpose & for healthy environment.
We are all inherently Curious that take us on the path of innovation. Innovations are something that every one strives for, more so an educational institution, the University said.
On the 21st of every month the University celebrates its Green Clean happiness Day “JV Mantra Day” to promote greenery, Cleanliness’ and stress free life for which University takes up various activities to encourage innovation & entrepreneurship spirit of the students and reward its students. This month ”JV Mantra Day” theme was ‘University Waste Tyre @Punar Janam’.
This month also Students were participated in the monthly actively conducted under ‘Student IE Club’ Club. As many students were participated in the Innovative Activities and presented & demonstrated their innovative ideas on the theme ‘University Waste Tyre at Punar Janam’.
Top 3 Team were rewarded with Instant 500/- Cash prize for their Unique innovative ideas on waster tyres and further they will be given Rs. 5000/- Seed money to take their innovation to the next level. Students’ innovation ranged from food containers for milch animals, Round sofa chair, dustbin, bookshelves, photo frames and coffee table from the waste tyres.
These activities not only encourage the students to think beyond books but also help them earn money. Apart from this, to encourage the students to follow the ‘ JV mantra’ by heart, the University buys the wastes from them under Waste management Activity . So they can sell even their fallen hairs at Rs five per gram. Every waste, be it left over clothes, electronic items, plastic or glass, is purchased by the University Startup. The students can give any kind of wastes- paper, plastic, hair waste, food, electronic, cloth, glassware, used books, foot wares, agricultural, animal, sanitary, biomedical, etc.
All students were participated enthusiastically in the monthly activity of Waste management And An Innovation & Entrepreneurship Activity. After innovation is key to the development of the country, says the founder and advisor of University Dr. Panckaj Garg. All the selected participants will be given instant rewards.
