MUMBAI: Mohini Daljeet Singh, renowned social worker and chief executive of Max India Foundation, recently received the India CSR Person of the Year Award for 2017, most prestigious CSR Award in India. The honor is an appreciation of her excellent services in the area of serving the people of India through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). She addressed the gathering and shared her emotions, vision and dreams to CSR and services.
Mohini Daljeet Singh is committed to provide affordable healthcare for the underprivileged. She is an individual par excellence with a hands on approach to development work. She has surpassed expectations by reaching unreached areas and touching great number of lives with large scale multi-partner programs.
As a multi-faceted CSR leader, Mohini has worked intensively on a broad range of social development issues including health, education, vocational training, women empowerment, water and environment and done some path breaking work.
- Mohini Daljeet Singh received the India CSR Person of the Year Award for 2017 on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Mumbai at Mega India CSR Leadership Summit. India CSR Person of the Year is one who has been immensely contributing to the field of Corporate Social Responsibility for long time.
Mohini started her social service journey by volunteering as a student with Mother Teresa’s Home “Prem Niwas”, in Lucknow. Later, as an army man’s wife, she actively contributed towards the overall welfare of the soldiers and their families in difficult situations. Mohini spent more than three decades on “hands-on” social and welfare work to benefit army families in the health, education and personal counselling areas.
More than 350 corporate and community leaders attended India CSR Leadership Summit & Awards- ion — Celebrating Excellence in CSR Leadership — held recently at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.
