Runners up the past two seasons, 2015 and 2019, the New Zealand team will try their best for a clear win in the World Cup game this time.

England

The defending champions are expected to defend the crown they won four years ago at home in 2019. Coming on the back of a series victory over New Zealand, they will be beaming with confidence going into this edition of the Men’s World Cup.

if you are considering bet on icc world cup teams to win a match, you should look at their record against the opposition team. You should also look at their batting and bowling averages, as well as their performance in recent matches. This information can help you to make a more informed decision about your bet.

ICC World Cup Betting Odds Explained

Before anything else, it is important to understand the deciding factors of cricket betting odds.

  • Past performance of the team and its players.
  • Speculated performance based on pitch and weather conditions.
  • Weakness and strengths of the participating players.

The betting or satta odd is the probability of an outcome against any event. For example, a match is scheduled between India and England in a one-day series. India has a winning odds of 1.57 (normally set by bookmakers).

You need to decide if India’s 1.57 can lead to a match-winning result by the team.

  • Implied probability = 1/1.57 (decimal odd)

Now, covert the entire thing into a percentage, where India stands a 63% winning chance.

To be a professional bettor, you must understand the probabilities of winning and losing over particular World Cup betting odds and then invest in the game. Online platforms like Fun88 offer the best odds for World Cup matches. The better the odds you select, the more prominent your winning chances will be. Also, there are different odd types which help you understand your winning stakes before investing.

  • Hong Kong Odds – One of the simplest odd formats, There are (+) or (-) signs that denote the relationship between your investment and your profit.
  • European Odds – The chances of winning and losing are expressed in decimals.
  • Indonesian Odds – Indo odds are divided by 100. The underdog or favourite team/player in the odd chart is represented by a (+) or (-) sign.
  • Malaysian Odds – These are expressed in the form of decimals, either negative or positive.

Conclusion

Given the player list and team performances, one can expect the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup tournament to be quite intense. Among all these, the best way to make it through the winning odds is to keep track of regular team performances and invest in the most reputable online betting platform.
