RAIPUR (Chhattisgarh): Godawari Power & Ispat Limited (GPIL) bagged the award “Best CSR Practices Award-2014” for its outstanding contribution towards Corporate Social Responsibility for organising the Gram Panchayat Cricket Tournament ‘MILAAP’ under category of Innovative Efforts for Sustainable Growth.
The award was given in a CSR Conclave event held at Hotel Royal Plaza, New Delhi on March 21.

It is notable that GPIL has taken initiative to offer & promote cricket for youth talent of Gram Panchayat through its project “MILAAP – Gram Panchayat Stariya Cricket Tournament”.
MILAAP is totally focused to provide the best platform to the players of the villages of Gram Panchayat surrounding the company. The award was received by CSR Officials of GPIL Mr. Rajesh Shrivastav, Sr.Manager & Ms.Yogita Rawat, Executive.
