New Delhi: Godfrey Phillips Bravery Awards, the CSR initiative of Godfrey Phillips India (GPI) is celebrating ’20 years of Bravery’. GPI Bravery Awards, a first-of-its kind initiative by any corporate has a huge reach and mass appeal.
These awards which are conducted across India in 16 states and in 6 categories, these awards resonates bravery and invite the entire human race to join this movement without any selfish means. On the ocassioan of Godfrey Phillips Bravery Awards 20 years of Bravery. Company has launched ad campaign celebrating ’20 years of Bravery’ to promote the event.
GPI Bravery is the Corporate Social Responsibility of Godfrey Phillips India, a multidimensional initiative that endeavors to fulfill our commitment to enrich and energize the society within which we operate. Godfrey Phillips India, has always been proactive with social responsibility initiatives, be it within or outside the office.
Some of these initiatives are Godfrey Phillips Bravery Awards, Women’s Empowerment Projects, various GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and support programmes for tobacco farmers and environmental management. Over 1200 brave hearts have been felicitated since the beginning. The intent of the Awards is to motivate and revitalize “bravery” both in the physical and the social arena.
Since inception in 1990, these awards have grown to encompass 16 states – Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Uttaranchal, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Goa and Himachal Pradesh.
