NEW DELHI: Genesis Foundation commences the New Year by announcing that with the help of our supporters and partners, we have been able to support the treatment of 800 critically children until now. The milestone number not only reflects upon the initiatives and efforts undertaken by Genesis Foundation in the last few years, but also highlights the dire need for enough and more people to extend their support to aid medical treatment of these under-privileged children who are suffering from critical ailments like cancer, cardiac disorder, organ transplant, thalassemia and extreme deformities.

‘Treatment’ may seem like a simple word, but it has a lot of weight attached to it. Lack of resources coupled with the high cost of treatment of some of the specific diseases means that concerned families are often unable to provide their children with the critical medical intervention that these children need. In all our humble attempts, it gives us immense satisfaction that in the year 2015, we have managed to cross the milestone of treating 800 critically ill children. Thanking all the supporters, Prema Sagar, Founder Trustee, Genesis Foundation said, “I would like to express my immense gratitude towards each and every member of the GF family. During the last one year, we have been able to do a lot more because of the continued support from the existing GF supporters as well as an increase in our community of well wishers. While this is a big milestone, we are really just getting started. There are many more children who need us to continue our efforts to help as many families and children as we can.”
A new member in the GF family!
Genesis Foundation saw addition of a new member in the family with Dia Mirza, a renowned Bollywood actor, producer and humanitarian, being announced as its Ambassador. Known for her inclination towards supporting meaningful initiatives, Dia Mirza said, “I am delighted to be associated with GF’s cause and I deeply feel for these children who have every right to live a healthy and normal life. I hope that together we are able to realize GF’s vision of helping these critically ill children who are struggling to live another day. I pledge to support the cause wholeheartedly.”
Events that touched hearts!
Genesis Foundation continues to organize events that strike a chord with people, and it has been amazing to see that we have been successful in connecting with people across the country through Kasauli Rhythm & Blues, Goa Rhythm & Blues, CEOs Cook For GF Kids, CEOs Sing For GF Kids, CEO’s Got Talent and Music For Life events. With the introduction of Goa Rhythm & Blues and 40 CEOs Sing for GF Kids, 2015 witnessed the addition of two new fund-raising events to Genesis Foundation’s list of interesting and unique events, which were widely accepted by our supporters.
