RAIPUR: INDIACSR is organizing a mega Conference on Fly Ash Management “Wealth from Waste” in Raipur at Hotel GT Star on 17 Feb 2013 . The theme of the conference is “Fly Ash: Wealth from Waste” www.flyash.indiaflyash.com. It is one of the mega fly ash management symposium in the country. Conference should address all pertinent issues in fly ash including regulation, disposal challenges and practical methods of fly ash management.

His area of speaking is “Use of Flyash in Road Embankment Construction”.
Mr. Sudhir Mathur has graduated in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi and obtained M.Tech in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has joined Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi in 1981as Scientist B and is presently working as Chief Scientist in Geotechnical Engineering Division of the Institute. He has also worked as Senior Roads Engineer with Ministry of Roads Transport, Government of Botswana from 1997 to 2000.
His main areas of specialization are Use of waste and marginal materials in road construction; Soil stabilization and erosion control; Design of high embankments, Ground improvement and drainage; Project management/ technical audit of highway projects and Landslide investigation and mitigation measures. He has published more than 100 research papers in leading national and international journals and conferences.
He is member of several technical committees of Bureau of Indian Standards and Indian Roads Congress and has contributed significantly in formulation of Standards, Code of Practices and Guidelines towards highway design, construction and maintenance. He has received many awards for his notable contribution in the profession.
