Students and faculty members of OPJU, employees of SSD, OPJCC and other institutions came forward to donate blood voluntarily.

RAIGARH (Chhattisgarh): OP Jindal University’s Environment and Community Development Club with NSS Unit organized Blood Donation Camp in the campus.
Under supervision of Medical College and Blood bank team 46 units blood was donated. On this occasion, the enthusiasm of the students was worth watching and those who could not make it, they were asked to participate in the future camps. Dr Prabhu Aggarwal, Vice- Chancellor, OPJU, Munish Agarwal, Registrar, Dr R.D. Patidar, Vice-Dean and Dr S. Banerjee, Asst. Dean congratulated the organizers and blood donors for successful organisation of the drive.
At the end of the drive, Dr R. D. Patidar honoured the medical team members and presented the mementoes. He underlined the importance of blood donation and said-“In fact, this blood donation drive is a true service to the society. This drive of Blood Donation will not only assist the needy but also fulfill our responsibilities towards society.”
In making the drive a grand success, Dr Bhagwati Cider, Ramkinkar Gupta, S. Patel, Dr Kamta Patel, Bhagwan Das Malakar, P. Nevelle, Anurag Vijayvargiya, Claude Mathew, Pramod, Samar, Krishna and OPJU students-Chandan Mishra, Bhawna Singh Thakur, Jay Mahilane, Sreyansh Patel, Vivek Kumar, Sachin and other NSS members played important role and put maximum efforts. Dr Sanjay Singh, programme Convener and NSS Programme Officer proposed vote of thanks to the management, donors, participants and team members for making the programme a grand success.
