MUMBAI (India CSR): Dr. Duru Shah, the Chairperson of Metropolis Foundation, the CSR arm of Metropolis Health Care Ltd will deliver a talk at Maharashtra CSR Summit being organised on July 27, 2022, in Mumbai at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan Auditorium, Nariman Point.
The state-level forum that would also feature Maharashtra CSR Awards and Exhibition, would be the largest gathering of CSR and developmental sector leaders of Maharashtra after Covid-19.
Dr. Shah has occupied the highest position in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Obst. Gyn.) in India as the President of FOGSI, Mumbai ObGyn, IMS- India, ISAR.
Her work for the last 20 years has been focused on adolescent reproduction and Sexual Health and Gender Violence.

Dr. Duru Shah is the Director, Gynae world, the CENTER for Women’s Health & Fertility. She is currently the Founder and President of The PCOS Society (India), a multidisciplinary Society that focuses its attention on PCOS.
She chairs the International Advisor of ESHRE’s Special Interest Group Safety & Quality in ART (SQART). She is on the Board of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) 2021- 2023.
Her Metropolis Foundation (earlier known as Women Empowerment Foundation) is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Metropolis Healthcare, which is focused on positively impacting the lives of the people. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, (i.e., SDG 3,4,5), Metropolis Foundation’s CSR initiatives are aimed at imparting education and creating awareness on Gender, Equality, Health, and Women Empowerment.
