NEW DELHI (India CSR): Dr. Basu Eye Hospital conducted an eye camp at Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, in observance of International World Sight Day. Aiming to raise awareness about natural eye care and optimal vision, the camp saw participation from around 500 students and 100 faculty members.
Principal Alka Kapur emphasized the importance of promoting eye care services and praised the collaboration with Dr. Basu Eye Hospital for bringing awareness to the school community.
The camp included a team from Dr. Basu Eye Hospital comprising a doctor and two optometrists, who conducted eye checks for the participants.
Expert eye specialists offered consultations, giving advice to enhance eye health. Additionally, an Ayurveda specialist was present to give eye care tips and address other related concerns.
Dr. Mandeep Singh Basu, Director of Dr. Basu Eye Hospital, reiterated their commitment to making eye care services widely accessible. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to educate the school’s students and staff about eye health and Ayurveda’s role in eye care. Students and faculty diagnosed with eye conditions received in-depth consultations, personalized advice, and prescription cards detailing eye care guidelines.
