New Delhi: Dabur spends Rs 26.35 crore on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which is more than the prescribed CSR amount of Rs 25.43 crore and benefited over 9.6 lakh people through CSR programmes in FY 2018-19.
More than 44 thousand villages in India were covered by the company under CSR.
The company broadly focuses on promoting health care including preventive health care, ensuring environmental sustainability and promotion of education.
The company is also involved in Special Community Development programmes for eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition.
Aiming at ensuring socio-economic development of the community through different participatory initiatives, Dabur helps deprived sections to build a better tomorrow.
The company also ensures environmental sustainability through ecological conservation and regeneration, protection of endangered plant species and promotion of biodiversity.
Dabur works in collaboration with local NGOs, government agencies, local authorities and other like-minded foundations to expand CSR reach to more places.
